Covid Protocols for In-Person Events

The Covid safety protocols that we have implemented for all in-person Norske Runddansere events are listed below.*  We are concerned about the health and safety of everyone who attends our lessons and events, and are doing everything we can to protect everyone. Folks are also welcome to come to visit, listen, and watch, and to dance when they feel comfortable.

*Any and all plans are subject to change as needed for community safety and as per CDC and county guidance.

Vaccination + Booster Required

Attendance at in-person dance events requires vaccination plus a booster. Proof will be required just once: we will keep a record.

Sign-In Required

For contact-tracing, we will require that all attendees to in-person events sign in our logbook when they arrive.

Masking Required

At this time we are requiring all attendees wear a well-fitting mask at all events, and keep their nose and mouth covered. We will have masks available for purchase for those who don't have one.

Bring a Water Bottle

Please bring your own water bottle, and drink outside the building.

Air Circulation

With the high ceilings in the Great Hall, we do have good air circulation. We will, however, keep the doors open for additional air exchange whenever possible.

Monitor Your Symptoms

We expect that you will not attend if you have symptoms or have had close contact* to anyone in the last 7 days who has been diagnosed with COVID, and will immediately contact NR at info@norskerunddansere.org (which goes to a couple of members of our re-start dance committee) if you test positive for COVID after attending an event.

*Close Contact:  living in the same household, caring for a person, being within 6 feet for more than a few minutes without using an N-95 mask, or being contacted by a Contact Tracer regarding a potential COVID-19 exposure.
