We are a recreational group dedicated to enjoying and teaching traditional Scandinavian dance. We dance and teach couple dances and lively mixers from all five Scandinavian countries. Each Monday typically brings

Monday dance lessons
Happening This Week – April 24, 2017
Hello dance friends,
Well, we had a terrific dance last Monday. The tribute to our late friend Paul Herner was just the right event to say farewell. Many of his friends, dancers and non-dancers as well, came to acknowledge Paul’s uplifting, exuberant contribution to our community.
We were pleased and grateful to receive the artistry of our local musical group Hapsala who donated their time and talent throughout the evening. It was a special night, and I think Paul would have been honored.
In addition, we had an excellent review of Boda polska from the perspective of Dave and Emma Charlebois. We don’t often enough have the privilege of Emma’s skilled take on the follow’s role in this dance. Pity.
This week will provide the opportunity to practice and improve upon what we learned last week. Dave will review those steps and help to clarify any parts that need attention.
It will be me at the turntable this week (remember that term?), cranking out dance tunes when the musician(s) need a break.
We are open and 7 pm, and lessons begin at 7:30.
Come and have a good time with us!
Thank You Musicians!
A big thanks to the musicians who play a few tunes for us almost every Monday! It really livens things up.
