We’re looking for people who want to fill the vital role of DJ for our dance evenings. Training will be provided if you’re new to this role. Donations Welcome (click here)Why? Our membership fees are just almost enough to meet our expenses. Our rent went up very significantly a couple of years ago, and we will still have a donation jar on the entry table. If your budget allows, would you please consider adding a little extra to your membership dues? If you can help, we thank you so very much!
We also have our own teaching DVDs for sale (set of two for $10) and our sturdy shoe bags for $10 each if you want to contribute that way! (click here) Everyone is Welcome!Norske Runddansere does not discriminate. Anyone is welcome to join us- all you need is a willingness to give it a try.

Happening this week 9.25.2023Hello again dance friends,
Now that summer is in the rear-view mirror we can look forward to the striking beauty of yellow or orange leaves as they fill our trees. What’s more, we can also look forward to learning new dances from Scandinavia and reviewing those we’ve enjoyed in the past. It can be both daunting and reassuring depending on your perspective. This week Lyle Weden and Juanita Ewing will refresh us on the smooth and stylish nature of Snoa, a longtime favorite of our members. Many of us are familiar with this dance, but each teacher has their own unique style and method of presentation and there is something new to be learned if one chooses to listen closely. Maybe a tactful phrase here, a turn of the foot there, a slight shift of body weight or method of interacting with your partner. All the subtleties that make for a good dance experience. We’ll be pleased to see everyone there for an entertaining evening of dance and music. We’ll crank up at 7:15 pm, as usual. Be sure to wear your clean, soft soled shoes for a better experience. Not sneakers though. Covid policy: masks are optional but welcomed. Please provide proof of vaccination/booster or same-day negative Covid test. Full details here: http://www.norskerunddansere.org/covid_protocols.html. Also, a reminder that our membership year runs from October 1 to September 30, so member dues can be paid for the 2023-2024 member year starting now. Bring your check and fill out the membership paperwork at the front desk. Or pay online at: http://www.norskerunddansere.org/memberships.html. Remember, your membership payment doesn't count until the paperwork is filled out and turned in (so we know what and who the payment is intended for). See you Monday. More Upcoming Dance Opportunities: Upcoming Events*Harvest Dance October 30thBecome a Member (click here)Annual memberships are available. The fiscal year starts October 1st at a rate of $100. That's still only about $2.25 per dance if you attend them all, which is a great deal! In January our pro-rate schedule begins, and we also have other special discounts for those who need it, like students. It's never too late to join and start saving. Contact us at info@norskerunddansere.org for more information.
Notice To Our Current Members: Thank you for your continued loyalty and support of our group. The Board continues to look for ways to stay in touch with you all, and to monitor state guidelines for safe gatherings in the future. Links to our Resources Pages:
