We are a recreational group dedicated to enjoying and teaching traditional Scandinavian dance. We dance and teach couple dances and lively mixers from all five Scandinavian countries. Each Monday typically brings
out 30 or more dancers of all abilities.
Summer dancing - no lessons
Happening This Week – August 21, 2017
Hello again dance friends,
As of this writing the world has not come to an end, and everything looks normal. Normal as defined by me anyway. But normal or not, all of us Eclipsians who are otherwise unaffected by celestial goings-on will be dancing on Monday. We invite you to join us at the Nordia House. We can dance and swap stories.
We’re located at 8800 SW Oleson Road in Portland, and the doors are open at7:30 p.m. It’s me at the helm this week so it’s hard to tell how that will turn out.
See you there!
Note, you can be a member of Norske Runddansere now for only $10 through September 2017. A very great deal!
Thank You Musicians!
A big thanks to the musicians who play a few tunes for us almost every Monday! It really livens things up.
Why? These days our membership fees are just almost enough to meet our expenses. We didn't want to raise them this year, so we're putting a donation jar on the entry table and hoping for the best! If you can help, thank you!
